South Gregories
South Gregories is a small campground set in low, sparse coastal scrub close to the beach with access to the beach for swimming and launching kayaks, canoes, SUPs and small boats (over very soft sand).

Bookings
are essential and can be made:
- online and at this website only
- for
one campsite only that you must camp on yourself
- up to and including the day of arrival (subject to campsite availability and your own internet service* to make a
booking)
- up to 180 days (approximately six months) before arrival
*Check
your mobile service provider’s coverage map but beware that the quality and
reliability of service in regional and remote Australia can be variable.
If you are an outdoor education provider, licensed commercial tour operator or are organising an event (friends, family and other social groups camping together does not constitute an event), contact Parks and Wildlife Service Gascoyne
Office (Denham) to discuss your requirements.
For stays before 1 April 2026
Bookings cannot be made. On arrival at the campground you may occupy any suitable vacant site after paying the relevant fees at the Francois Peron National Park entry station.
Campsites
Six campsites with sand over a hard surface.
All campsites are unpowered.

Facilities
No-flush pit toilets.
Campground Rules
No campfires at any time.
No dogs or other domestic animals.
Generator use is permitted 8am-9pm in campsites in Loop A only. Generator use is not permitted in Loop B.
Do not empty waste from portable toilets into campground toilets. Carry waste out of the park for disposal in an authorised dump point.
Carry all waste out of the park. No bins provided.

A per person camping fee and a per vehicle park entry fee apply.

Camping fee must be paid by Mastercard or VISA when booking.
Park entry fee may be paid when booking, on arrival at Francois
Peron National Park or by purchasing a park pass.
No booking fee.
A fee may apply if you cancel or remove dates from a booking. Stricter conditions apply for peak periods. Current and upcoming peak periods for Francois Peron National Park are:

Your safety and health
Drinking water is not provided.
No-flush pit toilets are the only personal hygiene facility.
December to April can be extremely hot and the risk of bushfire can be very high.
Nights can be cold from June to September.
Storms are common between May and October throughout WA.
Francois Peron National Park is in very remote Australia.
Ensure you have sufficient supplies (including water, food, fuel, medication and first aid), and equipment and clothing appropriate for the conditions before travelling.

Location
Access for high-clearance 4WD vehicles with low-range gears, and small high-clearance trailers only. Reduce tyre pressure for the single-lane deep, soft sand tracks in Francois Peron National Park.
