Henry White Oval
Henry White Oval is a medium-size campground.
Booking
Bookings are essential and can be made:
- online and at this website only
- for one campsite only that you must camp on yourself
- up to and including the day of arrival (subject to campsite availability and your own internet service* to make a booking)
- up to 180 days (approximately six months) before arrival
* Check your mobile service provider’s coverage map but beware that the quality and reliability of service in regional and remote Australia can be variable.
Friends, family or other social groups travelling together who cannot be accommodated on the same campsite must make their own separate bookings.
If you are an outdoor education provider, licensed commercial tour operator or are organising an event (friends, family and other social groups camping together does not constitute an event), contact McNess House Visitor Centre (Yanchep National Park) to discuss your requirements.
Campsites
Thirteen grass campsites on the former oval and eleven campsites on the tarmac of a former car park. Access to the campsites on the former car park is narrow and parallel parking is required. Campsites on the former car park are not suitable for tents and swags.
All campsites are unpowered.

Facilities
Drinking water not provided. Water may be available but treatment is required to make safe for consumption.
Flush toilets.
Shower (hot water may be limited).
Portable toilet dump point.
Food preparation and dining shelter with gas barbecue, dishwashing sink and picnic table and benches.
Communal-use firepit.
Campground Rules
Campfires when conditions permit and in the provided communal-use firepit only. Usual permitted season: April - October. Check current campfire conditions
Chopped firewood is provided. Do not bring your own firewood. Collecting firewood and kindling is not permitted in national parks and other conservation reserves.
No dogs or other domestic animals.
Generator use is permitted 8am-10am and 4pm-6pm and at some campsites only. Check campsite details carefully when booking.
Do not empty waste from portable toilets into campground toilets. Use the dump point or carry waste out of the park for disposal in an authorised dump point.
Fees
A per person camping fee and a per vehicle park entry fee apply.
Camping fee must be paid by Mastercard or VISA when booking.
Park entry fee may be paid when booking, on arrival at Yanchep National Park or by purchasing a park pass and is required for motor vehicles only. Payment is not required for trailers, including camper trailers and caravans.

Your safety and health
December to April can be extremely hot and the risk of bushfire can be very high.
Nights can be cold from June to September.
Storms are common between May and October throughout WA.
Ensure you have sufficient supplies (including water, food, fuel, medication and first aid), and equipment and clothing appropriate for the conditions before travelling.
