Dales
Dales is a very large campground. Close to Dales Gorge, Fern Pool, Fortescue Falls and Circular Pool.
Booking
Bookings are essential and can be made up to 180 days (approximately six months) before arrival and for one campsite only.
If you are an outdoor education provider, licensed commercial tour operator or are organising an event (friends, family and other social groups camping together does not constitute an event), contact Parks and Wildlife Service Pilbara Region HQ (Karratha) to discuss your requirements.
Campsites
153 compacted gravel surface campsites of varying sizes in six named areas. Generators are permitted in some areas only, and some areas are closed during periods of low demand.
All campsites are unpowered.

No-flush pit toilets.
Chemical toilet dump station.
Sheltered picnic tables at Dales Picnic Area, 1km from the campground.
Park Visitor Centre
Karijini Visitor Centre open 9am - 4pm March - November is 12km from the campground.
Showers available during opening hours for an additional fee.
Self-service on-arrival booking during opening hours and subject to availability of campsites.
Campground Rules
No campfires at any time.
No dogs or other domestic animals.
Generator use is permitted 8am-8pm and at some campsites only. Check campsite details carefully when booking.
Do not empty waste from your portable
toilet into campground toilets. Use the dump point or carry waste out of the park for disposal in an authorised dump point.
Carry all waste out of the park. No bins provided.
Fees
A per person camping fee and a per vehicle park entry fee apply.
Fees for camping and vehicle entry increased on 27 October 2023. The increased fees will apply for changes (except to vehicle registration numbers) to existing bookings, including for unchanged dates, campers and entry fees, as well as to new bookings.
If you change a booking made before the fees were increased, you can apply for refund of any increased fees paid for unchanged dates, campers and entry fees only. Apply by reply to the email confirming your booking change (subject line begins 'Your change to Park Stay WA booking'). Any delay in changing the booking may affect your right to refund.
Camping fee must be paid by Mastercard or VISA when booking.
Park entry fee may be paid when booking, on arrival at Karijini National Park or by purchasing a park pass and is required for motor vehicles only. Payment is not required for trailers, including camper trailers and caravans.

Drinking water is not provided.
No-flush pit toilets are the only personal hygiene facility.
November to April is tropical cyclone season.
December to April can be very hot.
Storms are common between May and October throughout WA.
Karijini National Park is in very remote Australia.
Ensure you have sufficient supplies (including water, food, fuel, medication and first aid), and equipment and clothing appropriate for the conditions before travelling.

108km from Tom Price, 205km from Newman, 83km from Munjina/Auski Roadhouse, 300km from Millstream Chichester National Park.
Access includes unsealed roads suitable for 2WD and AWD vehicles but road conditions can be variable and caution is advised.
