Four Mile
Four Mile is a medium-size campground close to Four Mile Beach in the east of Fitzgerald River National Park.
Booking
Bookings are essential and can be made:
- online and at this website only
- for one campsite only that you must camp on yourself
- up to and including the day of arrival (subject to campsite availability and your own internet service* to make a booking)
- up to 180 days (approximately six months) before arrival
* Check your mobile service provider’s coverage map but beware that the quality and reliability of service in regional and remote Australia can be variable.
Specific campsites cannot be reserved. Select a type of campsite when booking then select from campsites of that type that are vacant on arrival.
Friends, family or other social groups travelling together who cannot be accommodated on the same campsite must make their own separate bookings.
If you are an outdoor education provider, licensed commercial tour operator or are organising an event (friends, family and other social groups camping together does not constitute an event), contact Parks and Wildlife Service Albany District Office to discuss your requirements.
Campsites
Ten reverse-in compacted gravel campsites and five loose-gravel surface campsites for tents and swags only with parking a short walk away.
All campsites are unpowered.

Facilities
Drinking water not provided. Untreated water may be available but supply is not guaranteed and treatment is required to make safe for consumption.
No-flush pit toilets.
Hot water shower.
Food preparation shelter with gas stoves, dishwashing sinks and food preparation surfaces.
Unsheltered gas barbecues.
Sheltered and unsheltered picnic tables and benches.
Campground Rules
No campfires at any time.
No dogs or other domestic animals.
Generator use permitted from 10am to 8pm only.
Do not empty waste from portable toilets into campground toilets. Carry waste out of the park for disposal in an authorised dump point.
Carry all waste out of the park. No bins provided.
Fees
A per person camping fee and a per vehicle park entry fee apply.
Camping fee must be paid by Mastercard or VISA when booking.
Park entry fee may be paid when booking, on arrival at Fitzgerald River National Park or by purchasing a park pass and is required for motor vehicles only. Payment is not required for trailers, including camper trailers and caravans.

Your safety and health
Drinking water is not provided.
December to April can be very hot and the risk of bushfire can be very high.
Nights can be cold from June to September.
Storms are common between May and October throughout WA.
Fitzgerald River National Park is in remote Australia.
Ensure you have sufficient supplies (including water, food, fuel, medication and first aid), and equipment and clothing appropriate for the conditions before travelling.

Location
14km from Hopetoun via Hamersley Drive.
Alternative access via unsealed West River Road/Hamersley Drive (North) or Moir Road is subject to closure at short notice for the management of dieback disease.
