Fowlers Camp
Fowlers Camp is a small campground set in low, sparse coastal scrub close to the beach. Maximum stay
is one night.
Booking
Bookings are essential and can be made:
- online and at this website only
- for one night only
- for one campsite only that you must camp on yourself
- up to and including the day of arrival (subject to campsite availability and your own internet service* to make a booking)
- up to 180 days (approximately six months) before arrival
*Check your mobile service provider’s coverage map but beware that the quality and reliability of service in regional and remote Australia can be variable.
Friends, family or other social groups travelling together who cannot be accommodated on the same campsite must make their own separate bookings.
If you are an outdoor education provider, licensed commercial tour operator or are organising an event (friends, family and other social groups camping together does not constitute an event), contact Parks and Wildlife Service Gascoyne Office (Denham) to discuss your requirements.
Campsites
Six campsites with shallow sand over smooth rock. Campsite sizes vary significantly.
All campsites are unpowered.

Facilities
This campground has no facilities.
Campground Rules
One night maximum stay.
You must bring and use a sealed-unit flushing chemical toilet or a sealed-unit composting toilet. Portable toilets that collect waste in a bag are not permitted. Burying toilet waste is not permitted.
Carry all sealed-unit toilet waste out of the park for disposal in an authorised dump point.
No campfires at any time.
Dogs must be controlled on a leash at all times.
Generator use is permitted 8am-9pm only.

Fees
A per person camping fee applies. There is no vehicle entry fee for South Peron (reserve name to be confirmed).
Camping fee must be paid by Mastercard or VISA when booking.

A fee may apply if you cancel or remove dates from a booking. Stricter conditions apply for peak periods. Current and upcoming peak periods for South Peron (reserve name to be confirmed) are:

Your safety and health
Drinking water is not provided.
No personal hygiene facilities.
December to April can be extremely hot and the risk of bushfire can be very high.
Nights can be cold from June to September.
Storms are common between May and October throughout WA.
South Peron (reserve name to be confirmed) is in very remote Australia.
Ensure you have sufficient supplies (including water, food, fuel, medication and first aid), and equipment and clothing appropriate for the conditions before travelling.

Location
Access includes unsealed roads suitable for 2WD/AWD. The condition of unsealed roads can be variable and caution is advised.
25km from Denham via Shark Bay Road and Fowlers Camp Road.
