NINGALOO COAST BOOKINGS TRIAL

For a trial period bookings for Ningaloo Coast campgrounds will be released monthly.

Book now for stays departing on or before Tuesday 1 December 2026 at Cape Range National Park and Warroora Coast. Bookings for stays between Tuesday 1 and Thursday 17 December 2026 will open at 10am AWST on Tuesday 2 June 2026.

Due to extensive damage sustained during Severe Tropical Cyclone Narelle, all campgrounds in Nyinggulara National Park and some campsites at 14 Mile Campground on the Warroora Coast remain closed. An announcement on when those campsites will be released for booking will be made when a reopening date can be confirmed.

Other Parks and Wildlife Service-managed campgrounds are not included in the current trial. Bookings will continue to open 180 days (approximately six months) before arrival.

NINGALOO COAST CAMPING: SEVERE TROPICAL CYCLONE NARELLE

Thank you for your patience and understanding while the extensive damage caused by Severe Tropical Cyclone Narelle continues to be addressed.

Cape Range National Park

All campgrounds except Boat Harbour and One K reopened on Monday 27 April.

Boat Harbour and One K remain inaccessible due to cyclone damage and will not reopen before Monday 11 May.

Warroora Coast, Nyinngulu Coastal Reserves

All campgrounds except campsites 12-28 at 14 Mile reopened on Monday 27 April.

Campsites 12-28 at 14 Mile sustained significant damage and require relocation and rebuild. There is currently no estimated date for reopening.

Nyinngulara National Park

All campgrounds (Janes Bay, North Lefroy, Point Billie, South Lefroy and Winderabandi) sustained significant damage and require complete rebuilding. Damage to the park's radio tower means there are no emergency communications.

CAMPGROUNDS IN FRANCOIS PERON & KENNEDY RANGE NATIONAL PARKS

Bookings are essential for stays from Wednesday 1 April 2026 at all campgrounds in Francois Peron and Kennedy Range national parks.
